Curly Vision is developed continuously. This page gives a short summary of what changes with each version.

Version 1.2.0

English, new input methods and profiles

Languages

  • Curly Vision now supports English. The language can be switched in the settings; keyboard layout and voice are stored per language and restored when switching.

Input methods

  • Alongside eye control there are now switch control and touch/mouse.
  • Switch between them under “Settings” → “Input method”.

Profiles

  • Under “Settings” → “Profiles” different configurations can be stored and switched – for different users or different situations.

Display

  • New option for larger text under “Settings” → “Display”.
  • The settings have been grouped more clearly.

Stability, Windows keyboard and calibration

Keyboard

  • The size of the Windows keyboard can be chosen under “Settings” → “Windows control”.
  • Dwell time for predicted letters adjusted.
  • The shortcut for “Redo” has changed.
  • Fixed an error when entering text in Windows.
  • A notice appears when the selected voice is silent.

Eye tracking

  • Focusing and triggering the Smart Buttons has been made easier.
  • Calibration points can appear in random order.

Settings

  • Individual saved contents can be reset selectively under “Settings” → “Quit, restart or reset”.
  • The word preview while typing is now always shown; the option for it has been removed.
  • Order of the menu items for quitting and restarting changed.
  • Available shortcuts revised.

Stability

  • Curly Vision restarts automatically after a crash.
  • The application regains focus after interruptions by Windows.
  • The connection to the eye-tracking camera is restored automatically.
